Boutique Wedding Venue
Classically romantic and historically dazzling, Manor House is one of Kilkenny’s most beautiful exclusive wedding venues. The Manor was built in 1757 by Somerset Hamilton Butler, first Earl of Carrick. He built Manor House and established the estate with his new wife, Lady Juliet. And he named the estate in her honour in an act of enduring love. The impressive 18th-century house sits on a ridge overlooking the River Nore. From the moment you step through its pillared entrance, you enter a place out of time: lovingly preserved for the present-day, intimately updated in the most faithful manner.

Exclusive and Intimate
During your wedding at Manor House, the house is exclusive to your wedding party. An intimate venue, Manor House can host up to 96 guests. The 32 bedrooms of Manor House will be exclusive to your wedding party. Each bedroom in Manor House is unique and is named after a historical figure who is connected with the Estate.
Exchange your vows in style with an enchanting outdoor ceremony by the Lily Pond or on the Tiered Lawn overlooked by the impressive Manor House.
The Estate offers a stunning and diverse backdrop for your wedding photography. Once you’ve said “I do!”, toast your new beginnings with a glamorous drink reception on the lawn.
