Mount Juliet Estate Gardens

Nature plays a key role in our wellbeing, and the gardens at Mount Juliet are our pride and joy, offering true beauty and so many feel-good moments. Wide open spaces, exquisitely planted; ancient trees and rolling lawns; flowing water and fragrant flowers; our gardens offer instant serenity, harmony and beauty.

Follow a woodland trail with a picnic in hand, or simply sit a while. Listen to birdsong or inhale the fragrant notes of flowerbeds bursting with colour. However you choose to enjoy our exquisite gardens, we’re certain you’ll relish the pleasure of the many historic secrets and styles, many dating back to the 18th century.
Maybe you’ll love the wilder, rockier delights of the garden that winds its way up to the entrance of the Manor House. Perhaps you’ll fall for the romance of the old rose garden, where glorious modern and heritage roses bloom side-by-side. For certain, you’ll want to linger in our walled ornamental garden, a true highlight of the estate. With its double-herbaceous borders and famous ‘moongate’ – designed to perfectly frame the setting sun – this magical place changes in tune with the seasons.

Plot your own path, or discover each of our 4 walking trails, carefully developed to showcase the very best of the estate, and suitable for all fitness levels.
